Hello, my name is Larry. At the beginning of this month, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.
Before my diagnosis, I tried to keep working but just couldn't as I was shedding weight and unable to hold down fluids.
Once in the hospital, I was quickly diagnosed, but Baptist Health refused to treat me and lost my disability forms three times. This has left me homeless with no income.
I am in Louisville and looking at staying local for treatment. I'm also in talks with MD Anderson for a treatment plan since they take my insurance.
I am gathering funds to make the trip to Houston and basically for help surviving until I can get disability coming in. I have been two months with no pay.
On top of all that, I got rear-ended at a stoplight by a drunk driver.
