THANKSGIVING - Help the Homeless

There are roughly 55,000 homeless people in Los Angeles County, which means 55,000 people will be spending Thanksgiving Day without the comfort of a roof over their head and a home cooked meal. Last Thanksgiving, myself and a small group of volunteers were able to provide 100 meals and 50 hygiene packs. Although everyone was thankful for the food, we noticed that the hygiene packs were much more valuable to them. This year we decided to focus solely on the hygiene packs. Our goal is to raise enough money/donations to fill the 288 reusable bags that were graciously provided by Eric Flanigan of ARAMARK. Every $10 donated is ONE bag filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, antifungal cream, deodorant, water bottle, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and feminine products.
