Send YPW to Moot Court Finals!

We are juniors and seniors in Yes Prep West’s Constitutional Law elective seeking help funding our finalists’ trip to national moot court competition. Ours is the only high school in Texas that participates in the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy project, a program that allows us to learn the basics of constitutional law and to prepare and argue a case (4th amendment this year) in moot court competitions, first in Houston and then in the national competition. We are raising money four our top four finalists from the local competition to compete in nationals, which have in the past been held in Washington DC and Boston.

As students from a low-income community, this elective gives us the life-changing opportunity to become familiar with the legal profession - something few of us would have had access to in our lives without it. In order to keep it going, we need your help.

We are trying to raise funds to cover airfare and accommodations for our top six finalists to attend national competitions in March.
