Lala’s Fight ❤️

Last night we were faced with the worst news that we could ever imagine. Our baby girl Lala has what they called Pericardial effusion which is large amounts of fluid in the sac around her heart putting strain on her heart and fluid in her belly. We were giving the option to drain the fluid with the chance she may go into cardiac arrest, make her comfortable take her home and enjoy a few days with her until she passed, or euthanasia. Of course we chose to give our Lala a fighting chance and go forward with the procedure. The procedure was successful and they were able to drain the fluid to take some of the strain off her heart. Unfortunately this is only the beginning they kept her at Oradell to continue monitoring her heart and make sure fluid doesn’t come back. Next step is finding out why and hopefully rule out heart failure or cancer. Today they will be running tests echocardiogram, ultrasound, testing fluids they drained for cancer cells, and so on. Anyone that knows us knows that our fur babies are more like our kids and we would do anything for them❤️ that is why I am so humbly asking for help with raising money to help cover her medical expenses- we have a long road ahead of us but as long as Lala is willing to fight so are we!
