Help Jacoby with chronic pancreatitis

This is my little boy...he constantly lives in pain as he deals with constant, chronic pancreatitis. He's 3 years old and has spent at least a week in the hospital each year of his life. We have fought for the last two years for the insurance company to pay for a genetic testing so they can treat him. Currently they admit him in the hospital and he has to fast for about a week to allow his pancreas to rest. We have over $15k in hospital bills associated with his illness, this is after insurance paid their portion. He is currently having another attack of pancreatitis. Without knowing which gene is causing the issue he will live with the chronic pain until his pancreas digest itself to the point it has to be removed. Eating is painful making it hard for him to thrive, his fourth birthday is the 31st and he recently lost over 1.5 lbs and dropped to 25lbs. Please, any little bit can help...its hard to ask for help...but for our children we humble ourselves. Thank you
A little bit more about Jacoby-Jacoby is a very outgoing, helpful, and strong 3 year old little boy. When Jacoby was 6 months old he was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. His pancreas over works itself and when trying to digest the fats in the foods he eats it starts to digest itself. Jacoby has been living with a chronic stomach pain that gets so bad he is afraid to eat at times. Jacoby is in need of a genetic testing to figure out which gene ( out of 5 genes) is causing him to have chronic pancreatitis. With this testing we can figure out if it will turn cancerous and how long his pancreas will last before they need to remove it. By getting the genetic testing, we can potentially save him from becoming a type 1 diabetic. If they remove his pancreas before it completely destroys itself, they can do a biopsy on it and take all the enzymes from his pancreas and inject it into his liver with a 50% chance that his liver will take over and start acting like a pancreas. The genetic testing is the first step that is stopping us because it is $5,000 upfront. With your help we can help Jacoby with his chronic pain that he is confronted with every day.
