Andre Mobley Needs Our Help!
My name is Gina Stogran, and I am the Marketing Director for Babette's Furniture & Home in Leesburg Florida. The owners and staff of Babette's are coming together in support of a long time member of our Babette's family. Andre Mobley has been an amazing asset to our delivery team for more than 17 years, and customers are always letting us know how great he is in their homes! He is the kind of guy that treats you as a friend the moment he meets you and always goes above and beyond to help someone in need. Recently, his family has suffered an unthinkable tragedy, and right now he needs our help.
Last year his wife, Christy, was diagnosed with brain tumors. After treatment the prognosis was positive. Unfortunately, the tumors returned, and 3 weeks ago she underwent another surgery. Again, the prognosis was positive. 2 weeks ago she took a turn for the worse. She had a seizure and suffered a stroke. She was rushed to LRMC and was in turn transported to Shand's in Gainesville. She is currently in a coma.
Last night, Andre's youngest son, Andre Jr., and his youngest daughter, Taquoia, went to visit their mother in the hospital. During the drive back they were in a head-on collision with a driver going the wrong way down the highway. Taquoia was thrown from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. We are heartbroken and are doing everything we can to support Andre and his family through this incredibly difficult time.
