Everett Stubbs “The Robot’s Leukemia

Christopher, Adrienne, Everett, and River are a military family stationed in the Republic of Korea.  Over the past three months their son, Everett, has made five trips to the doctor’s office for fevers. During the last visit, he was admitted for further testing. The doctors noticed “blast cells” in his blood work and decided they needed to go to Tripler Army Medical Center, HI for more testing.

After a MED Air flight to Tripler they finally received answers. Everett was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) 09 October 2018.  He received his first chemo treatment on 10 October 2018.  This round of treatment will last until January and should stabilize Everett to a point where he can travel back to the United States.  

At this point Christopher will have to return to Korea to clear and prepare to relocate. Adrienne will remain in Hawaii with Everett and River, and she will need help in taking care of River and sitting with Everett at the Hospital.  

Currently, we are not certain where they may be relocated to in the United States. There is a very real possibility friends and family may have to travel across the country to provide assistance as Christopher returns to work.  

We are seeking donations to help with the following expenses as Everett undergoes treatment: additional child care, hotel, car rental, and airplane tickets so those who can take the time off from work will be able to help the Stubbs’ without incurring financial hardships to do so.
