Fallen Fire Fighter Continues Fighting
I am a 41 year old quadriplegic. I was a firefighter for almost 12 years when a drunk driver pushed my family's car off the road. In the car was
my wife and two small
children, 3 years and 1 year of age. Fortunately the kids were not harmed in the accident. My
wife suffered a broken back and me a broken neck with a cut spinal cord leaving me a c5-c6
quadriplegic.
I
was athletic before the accident and am now trying to rebuild that part of
my life. I am looking to raise funds for a new hand cycle bicycle so I can participate in half and full
marathons. Any help in reaching this goal will be appreciated more than words can say.
I
was a fire fighter, fighting to save others. Now, I am a fighter trying to save my life, making it the best I can.
