Together We Can Bring Back Band

My name is James Johnson and I am a proud alumnus of Campus Magnet High School. If you were to ask any Campus Magnet (or Andrew Jackson) alumni what they thought about their highschool expereince; they would likely echo my sentiments. We were proud of our school because we had teachers who cared about our individual scuccess and a school with a strong sense of community. Our community was energized by our sports teams and no sporting event was the same without our band. They transformed football games on home games and provided the soundtrack for every occassion. The band had a major influence on student unity and morale. As of 2013, Campus Magnet Educational Complex no longer has a marching band due to a lack of resources. This has not only impacted student life and the Campus Magnet experience but has cut off a viable pathway to college for many talented young musicians. I understand the power that opportunity and a positive environment can have on a young person and that is why I have launched this effort to raise the necessary funds to bring the marching band back to Campus Magnet Complex.
Please help me raise these funds to bring back the marching band.
