Dorcas Folmer Brain Surgery Recovery

On October 5th, 2018 Dorcas Elaine Folmer fell and suffered a bleed in her brain while fighting a month long infection. She was taken unresponsive to San Joaquin General Hospital where she received life-saving brain surgery and is currently battling to stay alive and regain her abilities. Her progress to this point has been nothing short of miraculous. She is responding and moving to commands, has been able to move both legs and feet, her left arm and hand, and has answered questions by shaking her head. Dorcas has always been a woman of immense faith in Christ and we expect and claim a full recovery in His name but this will also be a long and hard road for both her and her husband Wayne. Dorcas and Wayne spent 40+ years caring for and supporting the faith community in Stockton California and around the world. They started Delta Church of the Nazarene, which became Horizon Christian Fellowship, where they dedicated themselves to faithfully serve their global church and local community by selflessly investing all of their time, love, energy, and money. Whether it was a birthday, wedding, graduation, funeral, or just someone in need of a hug and a smile, Dorcas and Wayne have always been there for their church family (and extended church family). It would be hard to imagine more selfless and generous people. Please help us in raising awareness and funds to help Dorcas and Wayne through her recovery process.
