Remembering Michael Ray Nastiuk

Mike has been unable to locate 3 of his youngest daughters for the past few years. He received some information about their location in Colorado. So he took out a loan on a reliable car and left Washington. The information proved to be false so he was unable to connect with his 3 younger daughters.

On Sunday night, September 30th, his friend that he was staying with came home and noticed the kayak in the lake, but could not find Mike anywhere. She called 911 and the authorities began searching for him that night. It wasnt until Tuesday that Mike was found about 10 feet from shore.

Mike also left behind his two oldest children Michael and Miranda Aschenbrenner of Yelm, Washington. The loss of their father was so sudden that there was no plan set for his passing.

Mike was a very faithful Catholic and we would like to give him a Catholic burial. We would also like to bring him back to Washington to ensure we can visit him one last time.

Asking for help is the last thing we want to do. But, to allow us to grieve and get our father to his final resting place, we need some help.

We need to have him cremated, placed in an urn and made ready to travel back to Washington. We need to fly a family member down to Colorado to pick up the car so we can settle up with the loan holder. When the family member gets there they will drive him back home to us. This family member will also have to take time off from work to make the trip. Lastly, we need to clean up his trailer.

We are going to try to sell his belongings and place the rest of the remaining costs on credit cards. We would be very grateful if you could help us out with even a couple dollars.
