We are reaching out to everyone to please assist the Cameron Family as they deal with the loss of the one and only John “Cammo” Cameron.
Sadly, John passed away on October 1st as a result of complications from Coeliac Disease.
John is survived by his Beautiful Wife and Soul Mate Suzie and their Son’s Chris and Adam as well as their life partners Sam and Georgia and Johns Gorgeous 2 year old Granddaughter Tilly May.
As you know John was one of the most accomplished and successful Human Resources Practitioners in the industry world wide and he touched the lives of thousands of Hospitality Professionals around the world over some 40+ years having worked for companies such as East West Airlines, Sheraton Hotels, Starwood Hotels, Mirvac, IHG & CDL amongst others. John was a one of a kind and a larger then life character in so many ways. He was a straight shooter and a no nonsense executive but behind that Professional Exterior was a heart as big as Australia and for those of us who knew him and loved him as a Mate we knew that he would always be there with a helping hand, a cheeky comment and a funny story to tell in his own inimitable style!!!
John’s passing has left a huge hole in all of our hearts and we will miss him more the words can describe. The last thing that any spouse needs or wants to do, after the loss of a life long partner, is to deal with all of the financial stresses that one has as a widow, but that's what Johns’ wife Suzie now faces.Our motivation for starting this Go Fund Me Page is, one, to honour our mate Cammo, but equally important is the ongoing health and well being of Suzie and Her family.
We are asking two things for each of you who knew John & Suzie:
Donate Generously to the Go Fund Me Account
Please reach into your hearts to help ease Suzie's pain and grief by donating what ever you can to this “Cameron” Go Fund Me account. It won't solve all of life’s challenges that Suzie now faces but it will help her to begin to heal and to deal with a life without John and the financial security he provided. No donation is too small and of course no donation is to big either!!!
Spread the word as far and as fast as you can
There will be thousands of people who knew John and Suzie and would want to help, however, it is impossible to reach everyone via the Go Fund Me page itself. Many people simply are not on Social Media and only use email as a form of information and communication. Would you please go through your memory banks and lists of those people you are still in contact with, who knew or worked with John in the various companies he was employed at over the years and let them know about this effort to solicit everyone's help for Suzie and her family.
Please encourage them to look into their hearts and dig deep!
Finally this is also a wonderful way for everyone to show their love and respect for Cammo and to Thank him for who he was and everything he did for us and all that he meant to us!
