her story

pamela rose crawford is a 28 year old woman with a five year old son. she has lived most of her life in kinuso alberta. pam has cancer.
healthy living has always been an important part of pam's life. she has been an avid runner for 9 years with a strong love for being outdoors.
pam missed out on early detection. in 2008, she had an ovarian fibroid in her abdomen that was concluded to be harmless. in the summer of 2013, it was found to have grown substantially and become cancerous.
this cancerous tumor was diagnosed as terminal and is now inoperable; it has begun to metastasize to her lungs.
pam began chemotherapy in october of 2013. the pain she was experiencing was unbearable. she struggled to keep her weight above 90 pounds and quickly became too weak to withstand a full dose of chemo.
pam wished to pursue other treatment options. she has recently been to a healing centre in mexico. the results have been promising; she has had an increase in energy and a 20 lbs. weight gain. she has also been able to reduce her pain medication significantly.
this is the first time in 6 months that pam has made an improvement in her health, although; it is a long road ahead. pam and her family hope to have her return to mexico in an effort to defeat this cancer. pam dreams of living a cancer free life and watching her son grow to be a young man.
