<div>Nelia is only 19.

</div>

<div>While many young people fled the war in Ukraine, she chose to stay. She is studying to become a social worker and spends her days helping teenagers find moments of peace and joy—even as drones and missiles roar overhead.

<div>With an old Soviet car she was given for her birthday, she drove from village to village, bringing kids together<span> to laugh, play, and talk about their struggles. For a few precious hours, they could feel like normal teenagers instead of children of war.</span>
</div>

<div>On September 11, 2025, her car caught fire. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the damage was beyond repair. Without it, Nelia can’t reach the young people who are waiting for her.

</div>

<div>She is praying for a secondhand car so she can continue her mission of hope. Your gift—big or small—can put her back on the road and back into the lives of these Ukrainian teenagers.

<div>Während viele junge Menschen vor dem Krieg in der Ukraine geflohen sind, hat sie sich entschieden zu bleiben. Sie studiert Sozialarbeit und verbringt ihre Tage damit, Jugendlichen Momente des Friedens und der Freude zu schenken – selbst wenn über ihnen Drohnen und Raketen dröhnen.

<div>Mit einem alten sowjetischen Auto, das sie zu ihrem Geburtstag geschenkt bekam, fuhr sie von Dorf zu Dorf. Dort brachte sie Jugendliche zusammen, um zu lachen, zu spielen und über ihre Sorgen zu sprechen. Für ein paar kostbare Stunden konnten sie sich wie normale Teenager fühlen – und nicht wie Kinder des Krieges.

<div>Am 11. September 2025 fing ihr Auto Feuer. Zum Glück wurde niemand verletzt, doch der Schaden ist irreparabel. Ohne Auto kann Nelia die jungen Menschen, die auf sie warten, nicht mehr erreichen.

<div>Sie betet für ein gebrauchtes Auto, um ihre Mission der Hoffnung fortzusetzen. Deine Spende – ob groß oder klein – kann sie wieder auf die Straße bringen und zurück in das Leben dieser ukrainischen Jugendlichen.

<div>Mientras muchos jóvenes huyeron de la guerra en Ucrania, ella decidió quedarse. Estudia para convertirse en trabajadora social y dedica sus días a ayudar a los adolescentes a encontrar momentos de paz y alegría, incluso cuando drones y misiles sobrevuelan sus cabezas.

<div>Con un viejo coche soviético que recibió como regalo de cumpleaños, conducía de aldea en aldea, reuniendo a los jóvenes para reír, jugar y hablar de sus problemas. Durante unas preciosas horas podían sentirse como adolescentes normales, y no como niños de la guerra.

<div>El 11 de septiembre de 2025, su coche se incendió. Afortunadamente, nadie resultó herido, pero el daño fue irreparable. Sin coche, Nelia no puede llegar a los jóvenes que la esperan.
