Olive's Surgery

Hello friends, family, and fellow animal lovers! As many of you already know, my little Miss Olive has issues keeping her inside's inside of her body! Between changing her diet, different types of stool softeners, and countless trips to not only our home veterinary but the emergency veterinary in Tampa, she has prolapsed her rectum now 4 times in the last 5 months. It is absolutely heart breaking to see my sweet little girl go through this pain over and over again, and it is a complete mystery as to why this keeps happening. Our team of vets have tested for numerous different diseases and conditions and we still have not been able to identify the root of the problem. The plan of action at this point is to proceed with an invasive surgery called a colopexy, and reinforce a part of her colon to the inside of her abdominal wall to keep her from prolapsing again. My sweet baby Olive needs this surgery to regain her quality of life, but unfortunately her bills are piling up. I have utilized all resources available to me up until this point, so I am making this GoFundMe in hopes to ease the financial burden even in the slightest and get Olive back to her happy-go-lucky and most importantly HEALTHY self!
