Third Grade field trip to Charleston

I am a third grade teacher at Mary H. Wright Elementary School in Spartanburg, SC. This school is a great place to work and the students are all amazing individuals. The project that I am hoping to receive funding for is a field trip that the third grade takes every year to Charleston, SC. Many of the students cannot afford to pay to go on this field trip. The field trip is a great experience for many students who may not ever be able to leave their home town. It is an amazing way to reinforce our classroom lessons to them in the beautiful historic city of Charleston, SC. I am asking you to help us, the third grade teachers, and our students. Our field trip is a very fast, all day trip through Charleston. Our cost includes: bus fare, a trip to the aquarium, a tour of Boone Hall Plantation, Powder Magazine tour. It also includes money for snacks. dinner, and souvenirs for each third grader. Please consider giving to this project! We don't want to have to deny anyone the chance for this amazing field trip!
