Finish School

I have three semesters left at my school The College of Saint Rose. I have applied to all the federal aid companies and I even tried to get loans but my credit is not good enough to be accepted for any. I have been working a job and also saving up but it’s not enough. 

I'm an English major which means that there aren’t many major specific scholarships for me and the ones that are don’t come into effect until after I need them to. I really need help and while this seems like a lot of money, I just wanna finish school and be the first person in my family to do it on time and successfully. I’ve already dropped out once because of money and family issues, now I just wanna complete my degree in 2021. My goal with this degree to is teach storytelling and creative writing around the world in underdeveloped countries and cities that can’t afford conventional English teachers. 

I believe it’s important for everyone to learn how to tell their story because telling mine has changed my life and now I’d like to change the lives of others. Unfortunately I cannot do this without my degree. If I don’t raise the money, I’ll have to drop out and then that’ll delay my degree yet again and I’ll accrue more debtfrom loans that will need to be paid since I won’t be a full time student anymore and that will also ruin my credit making it even harder to get my degree. 

I’m desperate. This is my last chance to get my degree and finally do what I’ve been trying to since I graduated from high school. Please help
