Support For Trev, Rach And Terry

As some of you are aware, my best friend’s 14 year old son Trev was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoblastic Lymphoma a few weeks ago. What started as a suspected appendicitis, become a parent’s worst nightmare. Trev was flown to Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne where Trev underwent multiple medical procedures to determine the urgent treatment required. Chemotherapy twice a week was determined and doctors informed Rach and Terry, Trev would need to remain in Melbourne for the first 3 months of his intensive chemotherapy regime. Rach is currently staying in Melbourne so she can continue to look after Trev and take him to chemo, medical procedures, tests and doctors appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Terry is back home working as much as he can to support his family. As you can all imagine, the cost of living away from home without working is difficult and the bills do not go away. At this stage, Rach and Trev will need to be in Melbourne until December and Trev has at least two years of treatment ahead of him (the maintenance treatment is available in TAS). For those of you that know Rach and Terry, they both have always worked so hard and are always there to help anyone in need. They are both very proud people however day to day expenses and bills are adding up.I am hoping their family and friends are able to assist - any help to support day to day expenses for Trev and Rach while they are in Melbourne would be appreciated ❤️
