<div>Hi, my name is Krystina Miller, and I’m fundraising for my sister, Krystal Miller, who is currently in the hospital battling for her life.

</div>

<div>On Friday, May 23rd, 2025, Krystal was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with sepsis — a life-threatening condition that had spread to all of her organs. After extensive testing, doctors discovered that the sepsis was caused by untreated pneumonia that had gone unnoticed.

</div>

</div>

<div>Things quickly took a turn. On Saturday, May 31st, she had to undergo emergency surgery when the infection spread to her shoulder. By Sunday, she seemed to be improving, but on Monday, she rapidly declined. She became unable to walk or move.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Today, June 10th, Krystal underwent major thoracic surgery. While the operation went well, she is now on an incubator due to low oxygen levels, and we don’t know how long she will remain in the hospital or what her recovery will look like.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>During this time, Krystal is unable to work and is facing eviction. I'm raising money to help cover her rent, hospital bills, and basic living expenses like food — so that when she is stable and eventually discharged, she has a home to return to and the support she needs to heal.

</div>
