My name is Shane Tuwacha.
In March 2015 I was involved in a car accident that left me with a shattered pelvis.
I was in hospital for 6 weeks and was first seen to by a very good doctor who told me that in order for me to be able to walk again he had to do traction on my leg which was to pull the leg out from my pelvis where it was crushed. I was in traction for 2 weeks while doctors tried to asses my injury & how best to help me. He said I was to have a hip replacement done but I could not afford it at the time.
I was then seen to by a new doctor who then suggested that he put metal plates as a temporarily measure
to help me to walk till i was able to have the hip replacement done.
I had to have 2 more operations for them to put in the plates which was very expensive and I had to stay for a long time in the hospital and bills kept getting high.
It has been two years now with the plates in my hip, which now are very painfull and doctors have said that it is because my bones are getting crushed by these plates and im starting to lose all feeling in my leg. I need to have the hip replacement done as soon as possible to save my leg.
We had got some quotations from a few doctors and have settled with one but the shortfalls are high and we cannot afford them. We are kindly asking for your donation please in helping me to have this operation done. Any amount will do from $1 upwards, it will all add up for me to be able to walk perfectly.
