Helping my mom
Donation protected
3 years ago my mom turned a hundred year old building into a delicious bakery and comfortable community space. She invested her own labor and took on a $36000 loan to make this happen. And then worked daily, long hard hours (3am to 7pm) to succeed. She sacrificed so much to give this to her community. 3 years later her landlord has decided he wants something different in her space and is evicting her. Essentially robbing her of all the permanent assets and code compliance she paid for and leaving her in debt and with no revenue to recover. I am asking for help to offset some of this debt. My mom is 63 and has been a good hardworking person her whole life. She does not deserve to be treated in such a heartless way. It would mean so much to her and to me to get some financial help and relieve some of the overwhelming stress and sadness she is living with. We are both so grateful for any help we can get.
