Amos was born January 6, 2014. His heart stopped beating right as he was born. They were able to get his heart started again, but he never took a breath on his own. After keeping him on a respirator for 5 days and determining that there was no way he could live on his own, he was allowed to return to his Heavenly Father and his heart and kidneys were donated to save other lives.
