Kiwi’s Cancer Treatment

In case you haven’t met her, Kiwi is my 4 year old pit bull. She is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met and befriends every living thing she meets. So if you haven’t met her, you should cause she rules. On 9/15 I took her to the vet because she wasn’t reacting to food the way she normally does. During her visit the vet felt something in her abdomen that didn’t feel normal. She gave kiwi and X-ray and they discovered a large mass where her kidneys are. Over the next few days Kiwi got an ultrasound, more X-rays and had a sample taken of the mass. On 9/19 Kiwi was diagnosed with lymphoma and received her first chemo treatment. This has all been a huge shock to me emotionally and financially. I can’t thank the people around me enough for their support through all this so far. Treatment for Kiwi is extremely expensive and will be ongoing for next year. Any little bit helps. All donations will go directly towards paying for her treatment.
