Tiny Houses For Big Change

Donation protected
Children’s Chapel of St. Augustine’s of Canterbury, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, is undertaking a big project...to build a tiny house for a person suffering from homelessness. The Andrews University Graduate School of Architecture will help design and build our home, and Harbor Habitat, our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, has donated land and will help train our recipient. So, we just need your help to raise the money!!

So far we've partnered with Renaissance Kids Summer Architecture Camps.  Through this relationship, we've been able to a to build a model of a tiny house so that the children involved can help with the design and explore the idea that home is more than a house.  We've also built some play structure that will be sold to raise funds for both Tiny Houses for Big Change and Renaissance Kids Summer Architecture Camps.

We have some amazing local support, here in southwest Michigan, with a lot of folks chipping in.  We have even received grants,$5000 and $8400, from some awesome local friends who wished to remain anonymous.  So, we're hoping you can help us raise some money to make our project a reality.   Any amount is appreciated and every penny helps.

And please share to help us get the word out!  More friends means we can build sooner, and bring someone in need into their own home.
