My Mom’s Medical Bills

Hi everyone, earlier this week my mother, Dionne Johnson suffered a massive heart attack due to a 100% blockage in one of her arteries. While she is recovering well, this event combined with dealing with the after effects of Hurricane Florence has put a financial strain on our family. My family was forced to evacuate our hometown of Wilmington, NC ahead of Hurricane Florence. We have been staying with family in Atlanta, GA, which is where the heart attack occurred. Because of our displacement, the hospital caring for my mother is out of our network for our insurance to cover. On top of all of this, we’re inspecting the damage done to our house by the hurricane. Because of this we won’t be able to return to our house when we get back to Wilmington. All the money raised will go directly to my mother’s medical costs incurred during this time.
