Caring for Carlton

We are raising money to help our dear friend of many years Carlton Smith. A little background information on Carlton, Carlton is a 1988 graduate of Northampton High School. Upon graduation ,Carlton entered the U.S. Marines, he served during the first Gulf War, in the liberation of Kuwait and also participated in the rescuing the Embassador's at the U.S. Embassy in Somalia, Africa. After receiving numerous awards and medals,he was honorably discharged from the Marines.


Carlton then moved back to the Shore to work for Northampton County Sheriff's Office for 8 years, and has worked the past 14 years for ANEC in Tasley, Va. Carlton lives in Exmore,Va with his lovely fiancee , Angela Romo, step sons , Anthony,age 11 and Julio Castillo,age 9 and twin daughters, Clairess and Sarita,age 12, all from Exmore. Carlton is a member of Miracle Temple of Faith ,with Pastor Gene Savage, in Nassawadox,Va. Before Carlton got sick, you could always find him on a Basketball court, either coaching or refereeing for Northampton County Parks and Rec. Carlton is always giving back to the community

December 1, 2013, Carlton's world came crashing around him, learning that he had Pancreatic Cancer. Carlton posted on Facebook "God will never ask you to do something and not give you the power to do it, whatever test I'm facing , I will have the grace to pass."
