Help a broken firefighter and his family

On November 29th, 2013, East Brookfield Call Firefighter Michael Natale was involved in a major car accident with his 18 month old son, Joel. Fortunately they both survived, but Mike had broken his Femur in 4 places, completely debilitating him for up to a year. Joel had minor injuries but was spared more serious injury because of the use of his infant car seat.
Mikes been a trooper throughout, working on rehabilitation and getting back to 100%. He also has another baby (a girl!!) on the way, and she is due in March. He isn't able to get out of his medical bed without the assistance of family or medical personnel, and is unable to work. Mike is the only source of income for this small family, and had been working at three different jobs to accomplish this.
We (members of the EBFD) have been assisting Mike in day to day chores as needed, but due to increased heating costs, food, diapers and high medical costs, Mike and his young family are now struggling to keep up with the bills and day to day expenses. This is where our further reaching brotherhood comes in.
As a fellow firefighter and friend of the family, I am starting this GoFundMe in hopes to keep Mikes growing family afloat until he can walk (and work) again. Anything you can donate to help, no matter how small, will mean the world to him. At this point, he doesn't even have enough money to fill his oil tank for the house! Living in Massachusetts, you may have heard that we are going through a "Polar Vortex" at this time, and the wind chill has been approximately 15 below!
