Eagle Project - Rebuilding Pit Cover

My name is Wyatt Simmons and I am currently a Boy Scout with Troops 222 and 17 in Champaign. I have chosen to pursue one of the highest ranks in Boy Scout, the rank of Eagle Scout. The Eagle Scout project that I have chosen to do is for the Decker Theatre at Central High School. I want to give back to a wonderful department that has had a huge influence in my life. From my very first weeks in high school I knew I was going to have friends in the upper classes through Drama. From doing my first show in Hairspray to the final show of Shrek I have found it to be a wonderful program to be apart of. I am in need of donations in either the form of money and/or materials to complete this project.
My project is to completely rebuild the apron system, the platforms extending the stage and its supports in Decker Theatre. The project is meant to benefit the Drama department that I have been a part of for my 4 years of high school.

The funds to be raised will go towards platforms, wood/lumber, screws, food for volunteers, paint for the finished product and any miscellaneous needs along the way.

I need to raise approximately $2,000 for this project and I am asking if you would be interested in giving a financial or material donation.
