Get Bridger To The Mayo Clinic

Bridger is a caring, loving 13 year old who loves his Seahawks, his pets, and his family. He loves deeper than most and has a fighting spirit. Lately however, he has lost the spark that gives him the desire to continue to fight. With the most recent suicide attempt less than a week ago he feels as though there is nothing left to fight for.

Bridger has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and is on the Autisim spectrum and struggles with anxiety. Over the last 6 years he has continued to struggle with these demons and how to cope with his sadness. In six years there have been five suicide attempts. He has been an inpatient treatment facilities four times with the longest away from home for one year. Bridger's weeks are consumed with therapy, learnging social and coping skills all while trying to live like any other 13 year old boy.

While we have tried to utilize all the resources available to us in Montana we are still struggling to get him the help that he needs and deserves to live a happy healthy life.

We have been given the opportunity to take Bridger to the Mayo Clinic in May of this year for their Child and Adolescent Intergrated Mood Program. This is a very huge opportunity with a chance to make a a very sad boy happy and gain the skills he needs to be successful.

The program will require us to stay with Bridger for two weeks in Rochester, MN. Unfortunately Bridger's main insurance is not accepted at the Mayo Clinic and his secondary insurance has a very high deductable. The cost of the program along with airfare, food, and lodging will total well over $10,000.00.
