Our Sweet Angel

Brandon and I had a very rough year last year. It all started when we lost his dad p-nut (Clint Hyde Jr) to a drunk driver in April. Then in October we lost his aunt diana to cancer. Then 4 days before Christmas my mother passed away. We needed something good to hold onto, our happy ending after everything that has happened. So when I found out we were expecting twins we were overjoyed. Everything was going well up until a routine appointment. I was told that I had little to no cervix left and my little girl Alexandria had no fluid left around her. I was taken up to labor and delivery were I was dialted 2-3cm. I had a feeling I was not going home that night. I started having contractions and then if things couldnt get worse my babies were separating from the placenta, and I was told I had to have an emergency c section to save them. I was 26 weeks along. At 735pm on September 6th we welcomed our beautiful baby girls. Alexandria Marie and Samantha Ann. Both girls were doing well for being so tiny. Then we got the news we didnt want to hear, our baby alex was not doing good. She kept requiring more and more of the machine to do her breathing and her blood pressure kept dropping. The doctors kept giving her medicine to get her blood pressure up, nothing seemed to be working. Finally at 12am on September 13th they got a picc line in and her blood pressure stabilized. At 230am we got the call that we had to rush back to hospital, she took a turn for the worse. By the time we got to the hospital our baby girl was already coding. Our baby girl passed away at 304am. In a matter of 2 weeks Our lives were completely turned upside down and we are devastated and heartbroken. After what was supposed to be our happy turned into any parents worse nightmare, having to bury your own child. Neither of us were prepared to be off work this soon especially Brandon. We arent the type to ask for handouts, but with both of us being off of work and now the added expense of a funeral we have taken a huge hit fincinally. We still have our other baby girl Samantha who needs us to be strong now more then ever. Every little bit helps. We cant thank you enough. Even if you cant donate we ask that you continue to pray for us and our little baby samantha. She still has a long way to go. Thank you so much.
