Mural For The Peace Project
Donation protected
Our friends at The Peace Project (whose life-changing humanitarian work we’ve supported previously) are launching a new project “Grow Peace.” This Urban Agriculture project involves developing a food system that can help families worldwide alleviate food scarcity. This will take place in the space behind The Whole 9 Gallery, in Downtown Culver City. Along with this outdoor garden, they’ve asked us to create two murals with the same theme.
Between the five of us Night Owl Players (Phil Santos, Mitchelito Orquiola, Nikki Portman, Jen LaVita and Erika Enggren), we expect to spend between 300 - 500 paint hours on these two murals.
We’ve already started some rough drawings and Phil Santos started laying down some paint on World Peace Day, but we’d love your help in bringing this this mural to life and bring us a step closer to a world where all have enough to eat. Can you pitch in a few dollars to help us Grow Peace in our neighborhood?
Everything is appreciated and all who donate will receive a signed print of the finished mural.
