Hi guys, it has been a wild adventure trying to figure out where God is sending me. After months of prayer, I've decided to serve in Mexico for this next season.
I've been accepted to attend a Discipleship Training School in Mazatlan, Mexico. For the first three months we will be in Mexico, with daily classes, one on one mentoring and growing in evangelism.
We will also grow in community and I believe that Jesus is going to use this time to walk me through a lot of healing.
My favorite part of this trip is that I'll get to be working with orphans and children while in Mexico! And honestly I seriously can't wait!
After the first three months, we are sent out as a team to another country. This is called our Outreach Phase! The country is not yet decided but I will definitely keep everyone updated!
To go I need to buy a one way ticket to Mexico and my health insurance. After that, I have three weeks in Mexico to raise the first 3 months of my trip. This comes pretty close to 3,500 and the rest of my trip is due three weeks after that.
This is a lot and it could be scary, but I honestly have no doubt that God is sending me to Mexico. I also have no fear in this time and know that my Jesus takes care of me and provides. Guys, I'm so pumped! This is a huge decision but I'm so ready for God to use me to love these kids and be joy to my teammates. I'm excited to watch God do some crazy, amazing things in Mazatlan and I hope you all can see and watch and be a part of it too!
