Moroccan Knees For Cornelius

Thank you for taking a moment to hear our story. I am Ann O’Quinn and I am raising money to help my husband, Shaun Patrick “Cornelius” O’Quinn receive a Total Knee Replacement Surgery on BOTH knees. ********Corny told me years ago that he did not want to bother with medical procedures as he grows older. But 3 years ago, his attitude and outlook on life shifted when our grandson, Jude, was born. Now Corny works diligently on many fronts to improve his health. ******** For those of you who know Cornelius, you know he has bowed legs and a waddling gate (he has for years). He has quite a high pain threshold and has never complained. But now the pain is getting to be too much. After reviewing the X-rays, the doctors are perplexed that he can walk at all. ******** We do not have health insurance. Even if we did, we would not be able to afford the out of pocket cost for these surgeries ($60,000). ******** I have done my research on medical tourism. So....we are raising funds to have these surgeries performed at a fraction of the cost in Morocco ($15,500). ******** Cornelius has been known over the years as a contractor, farmer, youth mentor, Burner, Granger, Community Radio Broadcaster.
