Support Shaquan Go To The Next Level

Dear Supporter,

I am Shaquan Reed, B-Boy Tappa, an aspiring dancer who is currently seeking financial support for my upcoming training and performance opportunities.

I recently graduated from Boston Arts Academy, a high school committed to educating the next generation of visual and performing artists. My concentration was in dance and theatre.  With the rigorous senior schedule and my determination to receive my high school diploma, I made a decision to sacrifice many of the opportunities that had the ability to boost my career in order to complete my first goal, which was to graduate. Now that I have accomplished my goal, I am able to travel, participate in master dance trainings, attend world conferences and expand my horizon. 

I was recently accepted as a Protégé in Pulse and offered to become the newest member of the Iambeast Company by "WildaBeast" Adams.  The commitment I have made to follow my dreams is a costly one. Many of my peers have given up because of lack of family and financial support. I'm reaching out to people and corporations who have it in their hearts to give and who would like to make a huge difference in the lives of young people.

My personal fundraising goal for The NYC Pulse Conventions is $3000.00, some of which will be supported by my family. These funds will contribute to transportation and lodging costs, living expenses, conference costs, showcase preliminary fees, gala and other unforeseen costs. I am asking contributors to make donations of any amount because every cent is greatly appreciated.

Your generous donation will enable me to participate in this event where I will meet other artists, share my expertise, strengthen my abilities and bring fresh and new ideas back to my community to share with other dancers.
