Garcia For Duarte City Council 2018

Friends and Family I am excited to announce to you that I am running for Duarte City Council to represent not only District 6 but our community as ONE! Duarte is where my maternal grandparents bought their first home after coming to the U.S. from Mexico. Duarte is where my uncles, aunts, cousins, sister and brother have attended school. I am a product of Duarte Unified School District. Duarte has been home to me and my family for over 24years. I have volunteered for Public Safety’s after school program and continued volunteering as an AmeriCorps member. I have a passion for youth and community engagement. We should always give back to our community, and I want to continue doing so. I want to work with council and continue moving forward while bringing an open mind and breath of fresh air. I understand that to be a good voice for our community I need to hear and listen to our residents and staff!
