My brain's a rattling!

After I had a brain aneurysm suddenly haemorrhage last June, and a lengthy recovery, it was discovered that I have another aneurysm that needs to be dealt with. Later this month I will be heading (get it?) back to hospital for two more "˜open cut' surgeries followed by plenty more recovery time. Unfortunately this means another ten weeks off work and a slow return once I'm given the all clear.
Although my wonderful workplace has been incredible and supportive, I will be on leave without pay for the rest of this journey and all my savings are going towards the cost of the surgeries.
