Support Dog

In 2015 I was shot in the leg by my husband who then turned the gun on himself.  I survived but my husband did not.  For the past several years I have been trying hard to get my life back on track since this tragic         event.  I've been working very hard to do what needs to be done, so I'm can keep my leg.  Unfortunately, I'm losing the battle and will have to have my leg amputated. I'm scheduled in August to do a pre op consultation for the 1st half of    the many surgeries I will need.
I have been trying to find a service/support animal as I suffer from 
PTSD, TBI ( traumatic brain injury) and several other things.  It has been recommended by several of my medical team, including my therapist that a service/support dog would be beneficial for myself. Unfortunately, I can not come up with the funds on my own due to my disability from      the incident and only having SSI income. The Battle Buddies has agreed to train the dog, so I need to come up with $10,000.
