The Okeeheelee Indians 12U is a group of 12 very talented boys who play baseball out of the county-run Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach. This year the Indians are taking a trip of a lifetime "“ to the hallowed grounds at Cooperstown Dreams Park, in Cooperstown, NY. For some it will be the first time travelling outside of the county.
Managed and coached by Dave Epstein and coached by Nestor Rodriguez and Rob Gustafson, the group plays, practices and participates in various local tournaments across South Florida. Aside from teaching the mechanics of baseball "“ to hit, throw, run and catch "“ the boys have learned camaraderie and the value of being a team. Wins and losses happen, but this team sticks together and keeps getting better.
We are on our final count down until we leave! We still have alot of money to raise, we cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone that has shown us support!
