this fund is set up to help my dad, jerry lee surber. my dad is battling metastatic prostate cancer and also has a pacemaker defibrillator along with other health issues. he retired this year and lives alone in a small apartment. my mom passed away last year and our little family has been through so much. my dad is the most humble man I've ever known and wouldn't ask for help so I'm stepping in as his daughter. since his retirement, he has been living on a very small, fixed income and with bills piling up and all his health issues, he needs help so he can focus on enjoying this chapter of his life without added stress and worry. anyone who has ever met my dad has felt the impact of his positive attitude and energy. while I know he's just happy to be alive, I'd love for him to be able to not worry about being able to afford to eat and pay his bills. he has worked so hard his whole life and has helped so many people. I pray we can pay it forward, as he always has, and help him have some peace and better quality of life.
