These past 2 days have been a roller coaster of emotion.
Yesterday James was Life Flighted from Rock Springs to Salt Lake City Children's hospital with what they thought was a bad infection. After testing they found Leukemia in his blood cells.
This morning James was diagnosed with B Cell lymphoblastic acute leukemia. He was then taken in for more testing this afternoon where they will determine if the cancer is in his spine or brain. He also had a port put in this afternoon to receive the medicine.
The Good news! This cancer has a very high success rate 80-90% with treatment. He will begin Chemo this evening. These next few days hold a lot of unknowns. He will be monitored to see how He is going to react to Chemo the next few days. They said his healing process will be 2-3 years.
Kent and Ashley are wonderful parents. They need prayers and support during this difficult time. We know that God has all of this in His hands! We are trusting fully in Christ and His goodness. Prov. 3:5-6
