An injustice occurred Friday, January 3rd, night/early Saturday morning to the brand new small business - "Game Alliance". Owned by Jim and Cindy Knipschild.

The business located at 807 17th Street Suite G, Greeley CO, and two other neighboring businesses were robbed and vandalized after hours. Leaving behind loose wires, torn open arcade games, and shattered display case glass. The most important of all taking away a dream and livelihood from a Greeley native.

" Game Alliance" was a long sought after dream of Jim Knipschild. Cindy, Jim's wife, encouraged him to follow his dreams. This dream was many years in the making. Jim and Cindy worked very hard in saving money to make the once dream a reality. Finally, in November of 2013 " Game Alliance's" doors opened for business.

Through hard work of door to door advertising, Facebook, and an internet website; college students, gamers, families, and those alike came to check out this retro take on your average Game Stop.

" Game Alliance" featured pay-to-play video games on four 55 inch 3D TV's . Any customer, old school or new school, was able to play games from past favorites to today's top sellers on consoles from older Xbox, Playstation, and Wii to the newly released Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Wii U. Pick a game, grab a seat on the couch or a "Marvel" comic upholstered chair, chill out and play your favorite game.
If anyone was more into the old arcade play, Jim also had an area of full sided arcade games, pinball machine, pool table, and an air hockey machine.
Another feature, "Game Alliance" also offers their customer the ability to buy, sell, and trade video games, buy "Magic the Gathering" cards, and offers gaming console and computer repair..

"Game Alliance was a very clean, and inviting business, giving customers a unique experience with all the comforts of home. Jim wants each customer to enjoy his store, and enjoy the hard work he has put in to making this dream a reality. He encourages his continued customers to bring food and drink, and kick back and enjoy playing games.

In "Game Alliance's" short duration, this small business brought people of all ages. With each new customer that came through Jim's door it expanded this small business to more opportunities for success.

Beginning in January, Jim was starting up a video gaming tournament, as well as expanding to hosting birthday parties, and other special events.

Jim's 5 star Facebook rating and comments tell of what Game Alliance meant to this community in a short amount of time. Each day Jim saw a new face and was excited and proud to see people feel at home and enjoy themselves, their families, and friends. Customers liked knowing there was a new place to get out and hang out, they can even bring their broken computers and gaming consoles for repair and cleanings.
Jim is passionate, personable, and knowledgeable about his business, and makes Game Alliance affordable so others can share his passion. The Greeley and surrounding communities need a business like Game Alliance, to have a place to hang out with friends or family, to give a birthday or business party a new twist on fun. Jim's long, hard, sought after dream has created a new spin on gaming, and has given each customer an impressionable experience. It is heartbreaking and discouraging to see such a great small business and the dream of one individual be destroyed in the "blink of an eye."
