Save Rens life against Lyme disease

I fell in love with a man who's clock could be ticking if we don't do something about it.

I've shared the last two years with Ren, and that's not even a third of the time he's been battling his illness for.
For years his diagnosis was M.E., he was shooting in the dark for a cure with all the strength he had, doing constant research and absolutely adamant he would beat it.
In December of 2015 he was diagnosed with Lyme disease by a private doctor in Brussels. Finally we thought things might get easier as we thought he could now target the real problem with certainty. The only thing is, he's just so tired of treatments not working and he's weak from fighting so hard for so long.

Turns out, Lyme is coined 'the cancer of infectious diseases' because once it's chronic (which it is for Ren now, due to undiagnosis because of crappy tests which DON'T WORK!) you're best hope is to get into remmision but, cured for good? hmmm....maybe! if you're lucky, but sorry we don't know how to treat you so...we're just not gonna treat you at all! .....That's how it seems to be in the UK.

This campaign is to raise money so that Ren can go over to Washington and get the best help that's available. There's a doctor there who has been treating Lyme patients for many years and has a great track record. Having read patient reports and contacted lots of people under Dr Jemseks care we feel that it is worth the distance and the money it will cost since desperate times require desperate measures, and this really is a desperate time.

In summary, the money we raise will go towards his medical bills.
Lyme disease is a progressive illness, ie: it only gets worse.
Without this money, he wont be able to afford the treatment, and right now, as dramatic as it sounds, no treatment means no life.

I'm with Ren every single day, I know his struggles, I feel his pain and I see how he hides it, afraid that it'll drive away everything and anything good from his already compromised life.
He hates that he is in this position again, where money is the object in the way of his road to recovery. He's aware that he's reached out before and is truly grateful for all the help he's had so far.

This time, I'm asking for the help.
I just can't let the man I love give up on himself, but I need help to convince him there's hope.

Ren has offered that anyone giving  £15 or more will be sent a copy of his album Freckled Angels as a thank you.
But sincerely, as cliche as it sounds, every little helps, every pound adds up so anything anyone can give will be massively appreciated by me and everyone who loves and cares for him.

Thank you thank you thank you!!
Lots of love
