Andrea Alvarez- Stand Up & Fight MS

My name is Andrea I am 32 years old, I am a wife and mother of 2. I live battling and struggling with Multiple Sclerosis everyday. I was diagnosed with this disease 11 years ago. MS is a disease in which the immune system attacks the nervous system. It's progress a progressive, incurable and a neurological disorder or by its nickname “The Invisible Disease.” I am still currently working helping provide the best that I can for myself as well as my family. I have to maneuver around in a wheelchair as it is a struggle from time to time to walk around even with a walker. I am able to do daily activities on my own but mostly with the help of those around me which are my family and friends. I am starting this campaign to raise money for Stem Cell treatment in hopes that this will help me live a fuller and better life. I keep a smile on my face as well as a positive attitude and keep my hopes high. I didn’t know how strong I really was until I had to start fighting this battle. I have faith that I will be myself again and be able to enjoy life as I once did before this disease came into my life.
