Please Help My Mom

Casey Cunningham is a mother of three. She has worked her butt off her whole life to give her children everything she could give them and raise them to be great adults. Her oldest is earning her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, middle was a Division 1 Track and field athlete, and her youngest is a Private First Class in the U.S. Army. She is an amazing woman and cares so deeply about others and gives more than anyone I know. My mother, Casey Cunningham, has myelofibrosis, which is a serious bone marrow disorder that disrupts your body's normal production of blood cells. The result is extensive scarring in your bone marrow, leading to severe anemia, weakness, fatigue and often an enlarged spleen. Basically it is an uncommon type of chronic leukemia — a cancer that affects the blood-forming tissues in the body. She has been in and out of the hospital for the last few years, getting multiple surgeries and just in constant pain. Now the doctors are saying shes going to have to get a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible and the longer she waits lowers he chance of survival. It is an expensive surgery that usually takes 4-6 months to recover from. Luckily her job allows her to receive a portion of her salary while she is away but that's just enough to maintain her mortgage and basic bills. She then has to pay for these extremely expensive homes that are right by the hospital during her recovery and our insurance company won't cover the full cost for all 6 months. We've started coming to the conclusion that she may have to sell her home in order to even begin to afford to pay for everything and even that may not be enough. Anything that you could spare would be appreciated more than we could possibly explain. My siblings and I would really love for our future kids to know how amazing their grandma is.
