DSOSN 30th Aniversary

If you can dream it - you can do it ~ Walt Disney - It’s that time of year again and I have been dreaming about what kind of theme we will have for the 30th annual DSOSN Festival of Trees. Each year thinking about the theme and creating the vision, along with including the village it takes to create it I reflect on Freddie and what he would want as well. Some of the best memories we shared with him was at Disney. His excitement for anything Disney would make your heart smile. I wish for everyone to feel that this year with our display. “ A dream is a wish your heart makes “ so it’s with my whole heart I make this wish for the dream of ✨✨✨A wishes do come true✨✨✨gala tree. September 1 always starts my kick off of the panning process. The checklists come out, the volunteer list gets made and my requests start circulating. The goal this year is to create a Disney tree like nothing the charity as ever seen before.How can you help ? There are several ways to get involved. 1. Donate to this go fund me ( big or small every dollar makes a difference . The money is used to create the tree and the display for the gala. 100% of your donations go directly to the charity right here in Las Vegas. ( You can also donate a Disney item to add to the tree. ) 2. Donate your time. You can help create the tree and set up the display along with helping DSOSN in the preparation for the gala. 3. Your are invited !!! Attend the Gala , this year is the 30th annual gala and the planning committee is anticipating a party bigger and better then ever. You can get tickets, buy a table or come bid on a tree. Please consider helping this amazing charity. With your help I know we can create some Disney magic. November 30th is the Gala November 1 - 27 the tree starts taking form. Donation are due no later then November 20th As the fairy godmother says, “ even miracles take a little time. “ We have 3 months ... to build this miracle one ornament, one gift card, one donation, one volunteer at a time.
