Please help me get Maia into an educational, therapeutic rehabilitation center.
It is with great sorrow and humbleness and yet great hope, that I ask you to help me get my daughter into a place that will put her on the right path.
Some of you know that Maia, a bright beautiful girl with so much potential has been getting into trouble for a long time. It has gone too far now and I must bring her to a place where she will be safe, finish her education and get the counseling and life skills she needs, while helping her get away from the crowd she's grown accustomed to.
I wouldn't be reaching out if it wasn't serious. I am not the kind of person to ask for help (I put her through private school by myself along with everything else). But it rips my heart to see this young, beautiful girl push away everything and anyone that tries to help her. If you are receiving this please, it's because I trust you, please keep this confidential.
Without sharing the heart-wrenching story with you of everything we've gone through, I ask that you see Maia today as your daughter. It's just far too sad and personal to write. But the root of the problem stems most likely from PTSD from her hospital stay and the bullying that ensued when she returned to school freshman year (diagnosis from her therapist).
She will spend the rest of her senior year, earning high school credits, working with horses each day as therapy, attending group therapy each day and one-on-one therapy weekly. Schools like this generally cost 10-14k a month, but I was granted a scholarship to make it affordable! I can handle the cost, but the last minute financial burden is too much for just me right away. So I'm asking for your help. While I know some hold opinions that these schools do not work, I know that at least it will help her finish high school, which she has refused to do. Please put your faith and trust in me that this is the right decision.
UPDATE: Some of you have expressed not wanting to pay through Go Fund Me and have sent checks, and Paypal. Thank you so much!!! we have exceeded the goal, yay, I'm so grateful, with $17,600 so far collected!!!!
I have some creative ways you can donate.
1. If you're a client of mine and would like to donate and receive training sessions in trade for your donation, that's great, you can get as many as you like at the current rate! So that way you're getting something back. :)
2. If you're not a personal training client of mine, but would like to be and see this as a great opportunity to begin, even better, it's a win win!
3. Or maybe you like my yoga board game Turasa, and want to see yoga and meditation in more schools, or one for yourself. You can buy as many as you like and have them donated across the country, or to your city to families in need, shelters or schools. Just let me know!

Questions:
What if it if it doesn’t work? It may not, but it is my only option as she has told me she’s quitting school. All I can say is that a fifteen month brain reset with counseling twice a day, working with horses, away from riff raff, will have some positive effect, even if that means she just graduates.
What if she runs away?
They are in the middle of nowhere and are prepared for this as it happens all the time. No girl so far has succeeded.
What happens when she turns 18 in three months?
In Utah there is extended rights parents have, all they need is signed papers and she’s there until she graduates and shows true transformation.
Is it that bad, does she really need this?
Yes. It’s beyond what you can imagine. She is totally out of control. I am scared for her life.
Where will my my money go?
The school has given me a monthly scholarship. The cost is $4,500 month. This bit I’m asking for will get her in, covering the first two months and down payment along with the cost of the educational advisor whom I used to vet the school.
What will you do after?
I’ve increased my client load and am working on getting a corporate position within my company at Bay Club. Also, I’m renting out a room in my apartment. With my full heart I know this is right, so please today make Maia your daughter.
