The Macleay Family!

Hey friends, for those of you that don’t know the MacLeay’s are going through a tough time as so many items were taken from them this week! If you can contribute at all I know how much they would appreciate it, if anything we do know how powerfulPrayer is so please be praying for them! They serve our community in mighty ways! This is from the MacLeay Family: On Thursday, sometime between 1:00-2:00pm while Kelsey was teaching dance, the girls were in school and I was at a lunch meeting that just so happened to go longer than it should have, somebody broke into our house. They methodically went through every room, every drawer, every cabinet and took anything/everything of value. From watches & jewelry, prescription glasses on our nightstand to all four of our birth certificates and social security cards stored in a firebox in our office. Things replaceable such as our camera that we shoot dance films on, to things irreplaceable like the promise ring I bought Kelsey when we were seventeen and family heirlooms we had gotten from family members now in heaven.They took the security of our emergency cash, but more importantly, our feeling of security knowing a stranger was in our home, in our children's room. The blessing of this is that hardship drives us to God and our community has already surrounded us with a cloud of prayer and covering.Kelsey and I have a hard time accepting help. We are doers and our initial impulse was to just clean up the mess, move on and not let this slow us down. In a direct effort to accept the love of God better we want to vulnerably open ourselves up to our community, allowing the love and support of those God has surrounded us by. I've read it so many times but never had to say it, anything helps.
