Matt and Serena met 29 years ago on a dance floor in Milwaukee, and it was love at first sight. This love story has grown throughout the years and resulted in a long marriage and two beautiful daughters, Emily and Ali. Matt has always been a person who is compassionate, loving, and welcoming to all--especially to those in times of need. Never in our wildest dreams did we ever expect to face this difficult situation, especially considering his young age. And as we bury his mother this weekend, whom he dearly loved and cared for (as did we all), our sadness has only deepened. It is with greater sadness that we are coping with a new reality of having a husband/father on life support at Froedtert Hospital. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we are facing financial difficulties. Anything you can contribute to offset the cost of health care and loss of a second income would be greatly appreciated.
