Nenita Rubenacker: Mother, Warrior.

Our dear friend’s Mom, also a second mother to us, Nenita Rubenacker, passed away yesterday, August 28, 2018. She fought a damn well good fight with cancer throughout these years. She was a very loving mother not only to her one and only daughter and our dear friend, Bea Rubenacker, but she was also a mom figure to everyone she came across with. She was very strong-willed since she survived cancer once two years ago. Cancer did not define her. Cancer did not win. Cancer did not run her life. She looked Cancer in the eyes and kept pushing through. She was a warrior. She always lived as though it were her last, showing compassion, motivating people around her, caring for others, sharing her big heart to everyone she meets. She was very funny and a very cool mom. She became my baby’s first bestfriend ever since he was born. She is super loved by her coworkers and the people she held dearly. We will forever keep her memory alive in our hearts and We will forever cherish all the life lessons she has taught us. She is now no longer in pain, no longer suffering and in the hands of our Lord and Savior... As her surviving daughters dear friend (We are both serving active duty together in the Navy and have known each other a few years now), my family would love to support them as much as we can.The extended family is living in the Philippines and we are looking to help her only daughter, Bea, raise funds for all the funeral expenses that will take place in the US and also abroad in the Philippines as they will also be taking her to her final resting place in their hometown in the Philippines. This will help with living and travel expenses and setting up this gofundme account is the least that we can do to help Bea and lessen her worries and cares... since amidst all this she is grieving. It is an urgent call and we are looking to raise funds within a week or two. Every contribution counts and is very much appreciated!Her surviving daughter, Frances Beatriz Rubenacker, will be in charge of the funds once raised.
