Fundraising for Club Volleyball Fees

Since I first started playing club as an over excited, awkward eleven year old my goal was to play volleyball in college. So, I worked as hard as I could the past seven years to achieve this goal. As I moved from team to team and tournament to tournament this dream slowly became a reality. But last March as many of you know I ruptured my ACL. After undergoing surgery, months of rehab, and months of retraining my goals and dreams are still very real and obtainable. In two and a half months will mark the one-year from when I was injured and by then I hope to be committed to the best college for and be playing for the best program for me. As you can imagine getting hurt at very crucial recruiting time did affect my chances but I am playing for a new club this year, a club that will expose me to more schools and coaches all over the US. It is important for me to play for a competitive and strong team so that the colleges will come and watch me play. Due to the extensive travel schedule, the cost to play for this team is more than we had anticipated. The finances are simply more than my parents can bear alone. I am doing my part in getting good grades, working out, and fundraising in my own community but I know there is people outside of my community who would want to help. So I am reaching out to my supportive friends and family who have always cheered me on to help with the last push achieve to my goals of playing in college.
